Troop 80 will be conducting a 10 mile hike into the Bukhansan National Park for scouts working on Hiking Merit Badge. Safety is our first priority. The trail is unimproved, steep and rocky. Scouts must wear proper shoes and strict trail discipline is required. We will be taking the trail that leads to the ridgeline to the fortress wall  Novice scouts will not be able to participate due to conditions.

We will be taking the subway to Dobongsan  Station and returning on the number six subway line on the other side of the Park. Cost is about 1700 won each way. Hikers will need to bring a trail lunch, no food is available on the trail. All participants will need to meet with ASM Lamoureux at 0830  for a safety briefing and to review pre-hike planning per the merit badge requirements.
