April 11th 10 Mile Hike Permission Slip Download

This is for those scouts interested in earning the Hiking Merit badge.

The hike will be in the same National park as the last hike but we will be going up the fortress side this time. The goal will be to hike over the ridge and come down on the other side where we will return on the number six subway line. I still need to confirm the station. I have made this hike from the west side of the park to the gate in the wall at the top of the mountain, it is a good challenge. The view from the top looking toward Seoul is the best I have seen. Those scouts who are working on their merit badge will need to bring their hike plan as well as their permission slip.

I will be out of the country from 3-9 April. If you have any questions, send me an email or call me at home when I get back. Hope to see a good turn out. We had a great time on the last hike. If there is intrest in repeating it doing this hike again let me know. We’ll do it in reverse next time.
